2 Hat-tricks in World cup 2011

Roach records first hat-trick of World Cup 2011

West Indies pace bowler Kemar Roach recorded the first hat-trick of the 2011 World Cup against the Netherlands in a Group B match on Monday.
He removed Pieter Seelaar, Bernard Loots and Berend Westdijk off the last three deliveries of the match to lead West Indies to a 215-run victory.
Team mate Sulieman Benn praised Roach, who finished with figures of six for 27 as the Dutch were skittled for 115.

Lasith Malinga takes second Hat-trick World Cup 2011

Lasith Malinga claimed six wickets including a hat-trick as Sri Lanka recorded a comprehensive nine-wicket victory over Kenya in their World Cup Group A match in Colombo.

Malinga took six for 38 and ran through the Kenya line-up on his way to the second hat-trick of the tournament, following Kemar Roach's effort for West Indies against Canada. The 27-year-old becomes the first man to achieve the feat twice in World Cups.
