Royal Challengers beat Delhi Daredevils by 3 wickets

The Royal Challengers Bangalore moved to the second spot at the IPL 4 points table with a three-wicket victory over the Delhi Daredevils in a crucial match in Delhi tonight.

Earlier, Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and elected to field first. The Daredevils posted 160/6 in 20 overs, thanks to Sehwag (25), James Hopes (54) and Venugopal Rao (24). For RCB, Abhimanyu Mithun took two wickets.

Chasing a victory target of 161, The Royal Challengers fought hard and reached 161/7 in 19.3 overs to win the match by three wickets. Virat Kohli was the top scorer with 56, while Gayle made 26. Skipper Daniel Vettori remained unbeaten on 18.

For Delhi Daredevils, Morne Morkel took three wickets. Virat Kohli was declared 'Man of the Match.
