Mumbai Indians beat Pune by 21 runs

Chasing the Mumbai Indians' score of 160 runs for the loss of seven wickets, the Pune batsmen managed 139 for the loss of seven wickets.

Pune received a massive jolt to the run-chase as they lost the wicket of stylish Kiwi opener JD Ryder (0) in the first ball of the innings.

M Pandey gave Pune some amount of momentum with his 59 runs from 47 balls.
But the rest of the batting lie up failed to maintain the momentum.

R. Uthappa (34) remained the second-highest scorer for the Pune outfit as they could manage 139 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their quopta of 20 overs.

Earlier, Mumbai posed 160 runs on the board with most of their batsmen doing well with the willow.
Suman remained the highest scorer for the side with his 36 runs.
