Pune warriors india beat kings XI Punjab by 7 wickets

Pune Warriors India started their own campaign in classic style as they thrashed Kings XI by 7 wickets in 13.1 over’s only at Dy Patil Stadium.Pune Warriors Captain Yuvraj Singh scored 21 not out and Uthappa scored 22 not out innings added match-winning not out 45-run for the 4th wicket help the team to register an easy win.
Yuvraj still continued his form of after the World Cup in IPL-4 as he hit a six and two fours in his 15-ball cameo whereas Robin Uthappa smashed two huge sixes and a four in his 14-ball innings. Chasing the target of 113, Pune Warriors lost Ryder on 31 and Manhas on 35 after they added 60-run stand for the second wicket against Kings XI. Punjab failed to recover much from there.
McLaren hit a single huge six and 6 fours in his 51 runs innings from 41 balls and helped Kings XI Punjab post a decent 113-run target for the Yuvraj team. Pune Warriors India started their IPL journey as they dismissed four Kings XI wickets in four over’s. Earlier, Kings XI Punjab captain Adam Gilchrist won the toss and chose to bat first against Pune Warriors India in Mumbai
