Delhi Daredevils beat Pune Warriors India by 3 wickets


Earlier, Delhi Daredevils Captain Sehwag won the toss and elected to field first against Pune Warriors on Sunday. Chasing target of 188-runs, Delhi Daredevils lost their wickets in quick very session against Warriors India at DY Patil stadium. Pune Warrior’s skipper Yuvraj Singh took two wickets in his two balls to reduce Delhi Daredevils to 116/4 from 97/2. Yuvraj also dismissed Naman Ojha on 11 runs and Irfan Pathan on 14 runs in the 13th over. Delhi Daredevils lost Virender Sehwag’ wicket on 37 and David Warner on 47 runs after a very good start against Pune Warriors India. Jesse Ryder clean bowled Virender Sehwag in the tenth. Sehwag was in very good form as he hit six boundaries in his quick 23-ball knock @ put hios team in at good situation. Skipper Yuvraj Singh Scored 66 runs not out and Jesse Ryder scopred 60 runs and hit fifties to help Pune Warriors post 187/5 runs against Daredevils. Yuvraj Singh used the platform provided by Ryder to launch the Pune Warriors attack as he smashed 5 sixes and 4 boundaries in the final over. Yuvraj complete his fifty in 30 balls only and in his 33-ball quick-fire inning he played. Ashok Dinda struck in 4th over to give Delhi Daredevils early breakthrough. Smith hit two fours and scored 28 runs in 14 balls for the opening wicket with Jesse.
